I work exclusively with Master’s and PhD students and provide proofreading and editing support that complies fully with university regulations on academic integrity and permitted editorial assistance.

Universities rightly place clear limits on the use of external proofreaders. My services are designed to operate strictly within those boundaries.

For students...

In the absence of assignment or institution-specific restrictions, my work aligns with standard postgraduate regulations, meaning that:

  • I may identify errors and suggest changes relating to language, grammar, idiom, clarity, and structure

  • I may comment on clarity and coherence, highlighting areas that may benefit from revision

  • I do not make automatic or direct changes to student text without the student’s review and decision

I will not:

  • Add content, sources, or references

  • Rewrite arguments or develop critical analysis

  • Translate text

  • Alter the intellectual or scholarly contribution of the work

All suggested changes are provided in a way that allows the student to review, accept, reject, or adapt them consciously.

Reduced rates

I recognise the financial pressures faced by students, particularly at postgraduate and doctoral level. For that reason, I offer reduced rates for Master’s and PhD students across my proofreading and editing services.
